From the lotus...

The lotus stands tall and stately, 
It never thought of running away, 
From the mud and dirt. 

It knew the power within, 
That God endowed it with, 
Which could bring out, 
The beauty and fragrance.  

We are all lotuses,  just understand, 
The power within, 
And meet challenges of life, 
With a smile on the lips,
And a song in the heart!
